Don’t miss the Nightmare on the Old Spanish Trail. This haunted trail in Baker is only a short ride from the Fort Walton Beach and Destin area and well worth the visit. However, prepare yourself for the terror you will find in the woods during your journey through the trail. You never know who or what may be lurking behind the bend or tree. Ticket sales begin 1 hour prior to opening and the last tickets are sold 1 hour prior to closing.
Get a jump on Halloween with Halloween Haunt at Destin Commons. Kids & dogs can come dressed in their best costumes for the Costume Contest for the kids that begins at 6:00 PM. Trick or treating will be from 7:00 – 8:00 PM at various sidewalk stations throughout Destin Commons and at participating stores. Other Halloween activities such as fantasy face painting and creepy crafts will also be available.
Shop for fresh and local produce on the second and fourth Saturdays of every month – year-round! The farmers’ market opens at 8:00 am and stays open until 1:00 pm at the Fort Walton Beach Landing. In addition to locally grown fruits and vegetables, you’ll also find an array of handmade crafts and unique items.
Spirited nightlife on the Destin Harbor to savor at this thrilling & chilling Halloween Bash! The night of fright begins at 7:00 pm with live music on HarborWalk Village’s main stage, followed by fireworks over the Harbor at 9:00 pm and the adult costume contest on the main stage. Spooktacular family fun! Enjoy a kids costume contest and a 4-legged pet costume contest on HarborWalk Village’s main stage. Trick-or-treat on the Destin Harbor Boardwalk at all restaurants and shops at HarborWalk Village and kids crafts. 2:00 PM – Kids Contest Age groups 0-4, 5-9, 10-12. 3:15pm – Pets Contest If you are over 18 come on out Saturday, October 27th, for live music, fireworks, and the adult costume contest.
Trick or treat through the village streets of the tranquil Baytowne Wharf. Face painting & Halloween crafts will be provided by Abrakadoodle. Dance on the stage as the DJ playing frighteningly good tunes. There will be fireworks over the Baytowne Lagoon starting at 8pm.
This is Generations United Church’s annual Halloween on the Hill event. This is one of the largest events in the area with thousands coming to enjoy a safe and family environment. There will be inside games for small kids, inflatables, concessions, and tons of candy in the Trunk or Treats lines. Come and Enjoy. Oct 31st, 2018 from 6:30 – 8:30 PM.
Through November, spend the 1st Friday evening at the Downtown Fort Walton Beach Street Fest from 6-9 PM. The sidewalks will be filled with live entertainment, vendors, live music, and more!

The “A Downtown Holiday” Event is proud to serve as a drop-off location sponsor for the US Marine Corps’ “Toys for Tots” Program – please bring a new, unwrapped toy for this wonderful program to brighten the Holidays for children in need!
Make a full day of Christmas activities at HarborWalk Village for the 32nd Annual Holiday on the Harbor Destin Boat Parade. Visit with Santa Claus starting at 1PM followed by a special performance of the Nutcracker on the Main Stage at 4:45 PM from the Ballet Conservatory of the Destin School of Music & Dance. The parade will begin at 6PM, followed by a fireworks display over the harbor.
The Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers Crawfish Boil & 5K will be on April 21, 2018 at Uptown Station. Mudbug 5K Race begins at 8:00 am. $20 early registration fee through April 18, 2018. $25 registration fee after April 18 and on Race Day. $10 Student Run/Walk entry. Awards will be given at the conclusion of the race. Crawfish Boil Crawfish, shrimp, potatoes, and corn will be available at 11:00 am. $15 for 2.5 lb box. Four boxes for $50. Event will be held rain or shine.
64th Billy Bowlegs Pirate Festival 2019 schedule will be posted below as the festival approaches. Billy Bowlegs is a fun event for the whole family. There are tons of activities for kids as well as vendors selling pirate booty and local crafts. There will be great live music, and food vendors selling everything from ice cream to seafood. The festival is on Friday and Saturday, May 31st – June 1, 2019. The fireworks display will be on May 31st at 9:00 pm. The 2019 Torchlight Parade will be on June 3 at 7:00 pm.
Celebrate the whole July 4th weekend at HarborWalk Village with live music every night from Sunday through Tuesday. Of course, there will be a huge patriotic fireworks display over the Destin Harbor on July 4 at 9PM. The Annual Smoke on the Coast BBQ and Fireworks Festival at Destin Common starts at 5 p.m. on July 3, 2019. Family entertainment and live music will kick off the day. At 6 p.m. BBQ aficionados can enjoy $1 samples from 18 area restaurants and BBQ groups and vote for their favorite as People’s Choice winners. The annual Seaside 4th of July Celebration 2019 kicks off at 8:00 AM with a patriotic parade down Scenic 30A, concluding in Seaside for more July 4th festivities. There will be a concert by the Victory Belles at 7:00 PM and an amazing fireworks show at 8:30 PM. We will post more information when it becomes available!
