The Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers Crawfish Boil & 5K will be on April 21, 2018 at Uptown Station. Mudbug 5K Race begins at 8:00 am. $20 early registration fee through April 18, 2018. $25 registration fee after April 18 and on Race Day. $10 Student Run/Walk entry. Awards will be given at the conclusion of the race. Crawfish Boil Crawfish, shrimp, potatoes, and corn will be available at 11:00 am. $15 for 2.5 lb box. Four boxes for $50. Event will be held rain or shine.

64th Billy Bowlegs Pirate Festival 2019 schedule will be posted below as the festival approaches. Billy Bowlegs is a fun event for the whole family. There are tons of activities for kids as well as vendors selling pirate booty and local crafts. There will be great live music, and food vendors selling everything from ice cream to seafood. The festival is on Friday and Saturday, May 31st – June 1, 2019. The fireworks display will be on May 31st at 9:00 pm. The 2019 Torchlight Parade will be on June 3 at 7:00 pm.

On Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 6:30 pm, join us for the 3rd Annual Father’s Day 5K – Props to You Dad! Run/Walk/Stagger. This is going to be THE PARTY of the Summer! Brought to you by Run With It and Props Brewery and Tap Room, the course will start at the new Brewery located at 125 Lovejoy Rd NW and will be out and back through the beautiful neighborhood that is Lovejoy Road! Fantastic after party included with your race entry and will include food and beer (of course!). Props will even be brewing up a special beer just for the race! The Annual Smoke on the Coast BBQ and Fireworks Festival at Destin Common starts at 5 p.m. on July 3, 2019. Family entertainment and live music will kick off the day. At 6 p.m. BBQ aficionados can enjoy $1 samples from 18 area restaurants and BBQ groups and vote for their favorite as People’s Choice winners. The annual Seaside 4th of July Celebration 2019 kicks off at 8:00 AM with a patriotic parade down Scenic 30A, concluding in Seaside for more July 4th festivities. The 28th Annual Greek Festival (2019) will hold during Labor Day weekend a the Emerald Coast Convention Center on Okaloosa Island in Fort Walton Beach. Plan to attend to feast on delicious Greek food while you immerse yourself in Greek culture including music by Kosta Kastanis, which is one of the hottest Greek bands in the U.S.! You’ll also see local Greek dancers and multiple local and national vendors selling crafts and goods.

Kids & dogs can come dressed in their best costumes for the Costume Contest for the kids that begins at 6:00 PM. Trick or treating will be from 7:00 – 8:00 PM at various sidewalk stations throughout Destin Commons and at participating stores. Other Halloween activities such as fantasy face painting and creepy crafts will also be available.
Don’t miss the Nightmare on the Old Spanish Trail. This haunted trail in Baker is only a short ride from the Fort Walton Beach and Destin area and well worth the visit. However, prepare yourself for the terror you will find in the woods during your journey through the trail. You never know who or what may be lurking behind the bend or tree. Ticket sales begin 1 hour prior to opening and the last tickets are sold 1 hour prior to closing.

Join the City of Fort Walton Beach and the residents of our great city to celebrate the beginning of the Christmas season with our annual Fort Walton Beach Christmas Parade. This event will get you into the Christmas spirit with plenty of marching bands playing Christmas music, festive floats, candy, beads, and other throws. This fun Christmas event is great for all ages! Parade route is on Eglin Parkway beginning at First Street and ending at the Kmart parking lot.
